Watermelon Granita

Perfect to serve at outdoor parties, this easy, icy watermelon treat will help kids and adults chill out in the warm weather.

Serves 4

 Ingredients:

1 lime
Two 10- oz. packages of pre-cut watermelon chunks
¼ cup honey
4 Sprigs of fresh mint

Directions:

Juice the lime.  Add the watermelon, honey, and lime juice in a blender until smooth. Pour into a square 8x8-inch glass baking dish. For best results, freeze for at least 3 hours.

Once mixture is frozen, use a fork to scrape the granita into glass cups or bowls. Serve with sprigs of fresh mint, desired.
